Wheelabrator Technologies is developing a Combined Heat and Power plant at Kemsley Paper Mill, near Sittingbourne that will process residual waste, which might otherwise go to landfill, as fuel. The Wheelabrator Kemsley facility will provide low carbon electricity to the National Grid and steam to the Mill, further reducing its reliance on fossil fuels.
Over the 36-month construction phase, there will be a number of opportunities for local suppliers.
