The Kent Construction Focus Group (KCFG) is a one-stop-shop for local businesses to discuss the future of Kent development, giving companies access to local knowledge, expertise and contracts. KCFG promotes the future role of Kent land development and construction businesses in the growth and development of Kent and its environment.

Hosted by members of the KCFG committee, Cheryl Causebrook and Ella Brocklebank. Enjoy a Full English Breakfast at the Village Hotel, served from 7:30am, accompanied by speaker presentations and networking opportunities throughout the morning.

Gina English, Social Enterprise Kent

With a background in corporate sales and customer service, Gina found her true calling in the not-for-profit sector, where she now leads impactful work as Director of Social Value at Social Enterprise Kent.

She specialises in helping organisations deliver meaningful social value, with a focus on ESG, CSR, and forging strong community partnerships. Drawing on her sector expertise, she supports businesses to go beyond tick-box exercises and make real, measurable difference and positive impact in the community.

Rebecca Smith, Social Enterprise Kent

As the CEO of Social Enterprise Kent (SEK), Rebecca is passionate about creating lasting social impact through innovation, collaboration, and leadership. “At SEK, we empower communities, support organisations to thrive, and help corporates deliver on their social value and CSR/ESG objectives through meaningful partnerships and innovative solutions.”

Rebecca is proud to collaborate with organisations seeking to align their business goals with societal impact, offering strategies that inspire action and deliver results, she believes in the power of purpose driven business.


Louise Gilbert, Balfour Beatty

I am a Responsible Sourcing Graduate from Balfour Beatty, working closely with our supply chain to encourage more sustainable and ethical practices across the construction industry. Passionate about driving positive change, I have been working with the Supply Chain Sustainability School to promote their free sustainability e-learning platform, helping supply chain access tailored sustainability training and resources.

This session will introduce the Supply Chain Sustainability School, explain how businesses can join and maximise their membership, and explore the benefits the School can bring to your business.

  • You must be based in Kent and In the Construction Industry to attend. Those that book to attend that do not fit this criteria will be contacted and a joining link will not be given/a refund issued.
