From 1 April 2022, Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) will be introduced in the UK. The UK Government is introducing this new tax to encourage the use of recycled rather than new plastic within plastic packaging. This will effect anyone who imports or manufactures packaging that contains plastic above a certain limit.

Through this event our guest speakers Sue Rathemell and Andrew Thurston, MHA MacIntyre Hudson, will take you through;

  • What is covered under the Plastic Packaging Tax
  • When and who must register and account for Plastic Packaging Tax
  • Exceptions to Plastic Packaging Tax
  • How to prepare for the changes
