Sideways Media Welcomes CEO Tudor Price and Damian Green MP to its Ashford HQ
New Chamber member, Sideways Media, was thrilled to welcome Tudor Price, CEO of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and the Rt Hon Damian Green, Conservative MP for Ashford to their offices at The Coachworks in Ashford on Friday 12th January.
During the visit to the company’s HQ, the Sideways team showcased their current projects, gave insights into the publishing and marketing industries and discussed economic development in Ashford and plans for future growth in the town.
A family-owned independent business founded in Ashford in 2014, Sideways Media is a four-division company, encompassing in-house publishing, contract publishing, creative design and marketing & PR communications. As well as publishing Kent’s biggest lifestyle magazine, insideKENT, they also manage PR, communications and events for Elwick Place, Ashford’s entertainment and leisure destination which included the conceptualisation and delivery of ASHFOOD! – a new family food and drink festival weekend; marcomms for a number of other local businesses; and publish contract magazines including A Kentish Ceremony on behalf of clients including Kent County Council.
Owned and operated by Adam and Samantha Ready, Sideways Media is a multi-award winning company, having been named ‘Best Family Business’ at the 2023 and 2022 Business Awards Kent, with Sam also awarded ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ for 2023 and the ‘Growth Award’ at the Kent Women in Business Awards.
Sideways Media’s team is based at The Coachworks, a creative co-working and events space run by Ashford Borough Council. Sideways became its first tenants in 2019, and during their visit to the space, Tudor Price and Damian Green were keen to discuss the positive impact The Coachworks has had on the town’s creative offering. The Sideways team gave their visitors a tour of the space and shared some of the work that takes place at Sideways HQ on a daily basis.
