LPA Leaflet 2024

Recently I was helping a couple in their 80’s complete their Lasting Powers of Attorneys.

As part of the process, I asked whether there was anyone else who should be advised, or as the form says people to notify.

The gentleman said he had two children from a previous marriage who he had lost touch with, following our meeting he is now in touch with his son and daughter and although initially apprehensive told me that it all went well, and they were both very happy to be in touch with each other after such a long time.

He has thanked me for prompting him to reunite his long-lost family and it was only because of this process that sparked him into getting in touch.

So, as well as helping people with their Lasting Power of Attorney, I am now also reuniting families too.

Do you have a Lasting Power of Attorney?

We talk you through the process, capture the relevant information, ask relevant questions to ensure the documents are completed correctly. Not only that we give a charitable contribution to age related charities.
