The Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) introduced the concept of furlough to support organisations and help reduce the need for redundancies during the current pandemic. The furlough guidance has been updated a number times since the scheme was introduced at the end of March and HMRC’s Directions on how the scheme will work were announced on 15 March. The HMRC claims portal is planned to go live on 20 April.

In this webinar Catherine will provide guidance on the structure of the furlough scheme, who you can claim for and how to claim. Crucially, she will also explain the details which might have been missed and which could make the difference between a claim being successful, or being rejected. Alongside Catherine, Alyson will be at hand to walk you through how the new online portal works, how to manage your business cashflow and much more.
