Mark has recently gone viral for his video ‘I have NO friends and I’m NOT THE ONLY ONE.’ after he assessed his life and realised despite his success and family, he was missing something – friends. Touching on the topic of loneliness, Mark discusses that he has over 46,000 connections on linked in, many work colleagues, even a family with a wife and two kids, but he doesn’t have any close friends he can go out to dinner with or ‘long country walks’. But as Gaisford points out, he is not the only one suffering, he reference’s studies that have shown 18 percent of men do not report to have a close friend, with 32 percent of men saying they do not have a specific ‘best friend’.
