• An EU entity which does the same with personal data of UK citizens residing in the UK; or
• An enterprise from elsewhere in the world, which holds the data of EU or UK citizens within their respective jurisdictions;

If you are non-established, you will need to comply with the requirement to appoint a data representative to act as the point of contact between the data subjects of that jurisdiction, the local data protection authority and yourselves.

24-Customs

From 1st October 2022, all EU and overseas businesses exporting these goods to Great Britain must have a nominated Food Business Operator or Animal Feed Producer to act as their local representative. Failure to do so could risk significant fines and the potential confiscation of the goods themselves.
