I had a ‘Dream’!
We all have dreams… mine was to open the first restaurant of its kind in the world – selling ‘Piri Piri Chickens and sauces’. So I sold my family home and started giving life to my dream. ‘Nando’s’ was born. From the very beginning, the business was a success, and many people tried to copy, many others wanted to get involved, many others wanted to invest in. Now was the time for my planned expansion.
To expand, there was a need of capital and people, so I let in two ambitious young people.
After a few years, when the business was running smoothly and spreading all over the world, my ‘dream’ was stolen from me
The pain of losing my business was devastating and took me a few years to pull myself together and start thinking again.
Now I have another ‘Dream’!
My name is Manny Goncalves, founder of Mannys Sauces. Here we create and make some of the best sauces of its kind on the planet.
Our core value is ‘Excellence’ so our mission is to locally create, innovate, expand and make available to everyone in the UK and abroad a new range of flavours and a better and easier way of family cooking.
