Kent & Medway Careers Hub

The Kent & Medway Careers Hub is part of the Careers & Enterprise Company’s national network of careers hubs which work with schools, colleges and employers to help every young person find their best next step.

We support over 170 secondary schools, special schools and further education colleges across the county by providing Headteachers and Careers Leaders with training, resources, tools, events and networks designed to enhance careers education.  We want young people to be inspired and able to make informed and aspirational choices about their futures as well as being given the skills and experience to be career-ready when they leave their education setting.

Employers play a massive part in bringing knowledge, skills and experience of the world of work to students and teachers through workplace visits, career talks, labour market information, work experience, practice interviews, CV writing, careers fairs, and providing guidance to careers leaders.

We are partnered with The Education People and Medway Council and can provide access to a host of other skills and employability related services, including expert guidance on apprenticeships; Specialist Education Services for getting more people with disability or disadvantage into paid employment; and NEET Support for helping students find an appropriate pathway.
