About Martin Kingman

Martin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management being an associate member of IEMA, the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and IOSH, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. He worked at two large regional law firms in Kent since starting his career in 2000. Martin has also worked in-house at a construction firm as well as run his own business for ten years. He also has experience in running a wide range of other businesses but is most renowned for being a Debt Recovery and Insolvency Lawyer. He has been a prolific networker in Kent over the past 20 odd years and is a well-respected authority in the areas of litigation, debt recovery and insolvency with particular specialisms in international debt recovery overseas and antecedent transactions with directors. He frequently writes articles and gives seminars and is well known for running board development days and CEO peer to peer groups where he assists those members running their own business with particular issues.

In April 2023 he launched Pro Legal Group a series of professional service companies encompassing both debt recovery and commercial law including litigation, commercial property, employment and commercial company sales together with others such as a compliance business undertaking ISOs and other regulatory compliance audits and providing business management software to those companies, a full blown IT firm providing hardware and software support as well as cabling and networking and a contract business providing documentation for all sized businesses including terms of business, employment handbooks and policies and procedures for a wide range of businesses.

Martin is regarded as an authority in his field. The Pro Legal Group has risen from humble beginnings to becoming a full-blown professional service firm and we will shortly be adding an accounting practice to be developed into a full professional service cradle to grave firm.

About Pro Legal Group 

Pro Legal Group was established in April 2023 with our existing debt recovery business, a brand-new SRA authorised law firm together with an existing compliance business and a contract business. Since then, we have also introduced an IT business into the fold to be expanded into a fully professional service delivery. The group caters is for all SME businesses and this has gone from strength to strength. We are anticipating a turnover of around £1m to the end of the first year rising to £1.5m by the end of year two.
