Business Bites: The Future of Business Finance: Preparing for Electronic Invoicing – 13th August – Recording

13th August 2026

Business Bites are a series of short webinars on topics relevant to your company irrespective of your size or industry. This session’s guest speaker will be Sue Rathmell from Chamber Patron members MHA.

Every business that is registered for VAT in the UK will have to use e-invoicing for B2B supplies from 1 April 2029. Electronic invoicing is the ability for a business to create, send, receive and manage invoices in an electronic format. This means an invoice can be sent directly from a supplier to their customer in a fully automated way so that the invoice is issued electronically and received directly into the customer’s accounting system.

Businesses should start considering how the changes will impact their finance processes, systems, and VAT compliance.

Join MHA’s VAT Partner Sue Rathmell for a practical session exploring the latest developments, what we know so far about e-invoicing, and the steps businesses can take now to prepare. We’ll also look ahead to the Autumn Budget and discuss potential announcements that could affect Kent businesses in the months and years ahead.
