Richard Palmer, Chair of Kent County Council, in partnership with SERFCA (South-East Reserves Forces’ & Cadets’ Association), is delighted to announce plans for the Kent Reserves and Cadets Event. This exclusive event will celebrate and strengthen the vital relationship between local employers, reservists, and cadet forces.
The event will run for approximately three hours, likely in the afternoon, and will feature:
- Networking opportunities with like-minded organisations
- Engaging exhibitions showcasing defence and cadet initiatives
- Inspiring talks from key figures in the Armed Forces community
Why Attend?
- Employers committed to supporting defence through the Armed Forces Covenant and Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS)
- ERS Bronze and Silver Award holders aiming to progress
- Employees curious about becoming a Reservist
- Anyone interested in becoming a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV)
By taking part and applying, participating businesses will automatically become Bronze Award Holders – a valuable distinction to showcase on websites and corporate stationery.
To move forward with planning, we need to confirm attendance. This event will only go ahead if sufficient interest is registered by Monday 15th December 2025.
