£20 Million Secured for Ramsgate’s Long-Term Future
Thanet District Council has been awarded £20 million in government funding for Ramsgate through the Plan for Neighbourhoods programme. This funding will support targeted investment across Ramsgate over the next decade, from 2026 to 2036, equipping the community to address the issues that matter most to local people.
This significant pot of funding will be used to develop a ten-year vision, a Regeneration Plan, and a detailed four-year Investment Plan, all shaped by your voice.

1. Ramsgate Business Survey
Business owners and operators are invited to share their insights via the business survey. Topics include how long your business has been operating in Ramsgate, reasons for choosing the location, and recent changes in turnover. Your responses will help ensure that planned investments cater to the needs of the local economy.
(Please note: the survey is hosted on Google Forms and responses are processed securely, purely for research purposes by the council and Ramsgate Neighbourhood Board.) Online survey
2. Plan for Neighbourhoods (Resident) Survey
Residents are encouraged to tell us about life in Ramsgate and your aspirations for its future. The survey covers satisfaction with your neighbourhood, key words that describe the future of Ramsgate (e.g., accessible, vibrant, safe), and ratings across areas like education, health services, green spaces, public transport, and community safety.
