The Norton Knatchbull Reach The National Athletics Final 2026

We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of The Norton Knatchbull School Athletics teams. Both our Junior (Years 7 & 8) and Intermediate (Years 9 & 10) squads have progressed through District and Regional qualifying rounds to reach the English Schools Athletics Association National Final, which will take place on Saturday 4th July in Chelmsford.

Out of approximately 3,500 secondary schools across England, our students will now compete among the top 12 schools nationally—an exceptional accomplishment that reflects their dedication, talent, and commitment.

This builds on last year’s success, where our Junior team reached the National Final and achieved an impressive 5th place finish.

To support our athletes in this prestigious event, the school will be funding:

• Coach travel for athletes, staff and supporters (approximately £900)
• Commemorative team tops to celebrate reaching the National Final (approximately £1,000)

We are therefore seeking the support from our local community who may be willing to contribute towards these costs. Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated and will directly support our students in representing both the school and our local community on a national stage.
