Supporting Heart Unions Week: Promoting Fairness and Financial Wellbeing

Heart Unions Week (9–15 February) is a moment to recognise the important role trade unions play in advocating fairness, security, and mutual support for working people.

At Wave Community Bank, we’ve proudly supported Heart Unions Week for many years. Since our founding in 2000, our mission has been to provide fair and accessible financial services, regardless of location or credit history — a commitment that continues today.

We know recent years have brought financial challenges for many households, with rising costs of living increasing stress around money. That’s why we focus not only on savings and loans but also on helping people feel confident and in control of their finances. One example is our Workplace Savings Scheme, which allows employees to save directly from their wages. Even small, regular contributions can have a meaningful impact over time.
