Sidcup Business Weeding By Example – Helping ellenor In The Garden!

Chamber members ITRM have helped Gravesend hospice ellenor by volunteering in the garden.

The ellenor garden is ready for our spring landscaping plans – thanks to help from Sidcup company ITRM.

The IT specialists and fellow Kent Chamber member, brought their whole team to the Gravesend hospice, including their Bristol colleagues, to spend a day volunteering with us.
The idea was to work together as a company, achieve something as a team and also, get to know each other better in a different environment.

Managing Director Dave White made a decision for 2025, for ITRM to do something to give back to a charity.

The team cut back overgrown areas, dug out concrete blocks, moved piles of soil and levelled out huge mounds of earth. They even helped with the demolition of an old shed, pergola and compost area.

The garden looks much bigger and tidier now, plus their efforts have saved ellenor more than 200 hours of labour!

ellenor’s Director of Operations Liam Stone, said: “What an incredible effort, and it means we can focus on the landscaping plan to get ready for spring. Thank you so much ITRM.”

Dave White added: “A huge thank you to ellenor for welcoming us and to our amazing team for stepping up with enthusiasm and positivity.”
