New Features Now Live in Mirashare’s Incident & Near Miss Reporting App

Here at Elmstone, we truly believe that 2026 is going to be a great year!

We have several exciting initiatives aligned to our EHS Software Solution planned for this year, and to kick things off, we’re delighted to unveil the latest enhancements to Mirasnap — our Incident and Near Miss mobile reporting app.

What is Mirasnap and why do I need it?

Mirasnap, Mirashare’s Incident and Near Miss Reporting App, puts fast, simple reporting in the hands of your workforce — enabling incidents, near misses, and hazards to be captured in seconds, exactly when and where they happen. Integrated with Mirashare’s Incident Management Module, Mirasnap provides a simple, accessible, and proactive way to report on-the-go, resulting in a safer and happier workforce for all.

Mirasnap’s core key features

• Capture incidents, near misses, and hazards in seconds.
• Use photos, videos, and audio recordings to enhance reports.
• Automatically collect key information like time, date, and location.
• ‘Mobile only’ user profiles available for on-the-go reporting.
• Send push notifications to keep teams informed.
• Also integrated with Mirashare’s GPS Module.

Same great functionality – we’ve just added two new features!

We’ve been listening closely to our customers and while they love that Mirasnap is straight forward and easy to use, they asked for a couple of additional options to be made available:

• Department selection – Users can now select the department in which the incident or near miss occurred. This is especially valuable for organisations operating across multiple locations and departments.
• Category selection – Users can now choose a category associated with the incident or near miss, allowing the person submitting the report to accurately classify the event at the time of reporting.

Can these new features be turned on or off?

Absolutely – we’ve made these features optional. That means you have the flexibility to have neither showing, only one, or both! It’s completely your business’s choice in terms of how you want to configure things.
