More Than 100 Businesses Attend Chamber Connections Event In Kings Hill

Churchill Square Business Centre was delighted to host the Kent Invicta Chamber Connections event for the second year running, welcoming over 100 small businesses to its Kings Hill site.
Sponsored by onsite customer Mivvy Creative Ltd, the event brought together SMEs from all over Kent, providing them with an opportunity to foster new connections with like-minded individuals.
The centre’s meeting rooms and reception were packed with business owners as they tucked into delicious bacon and sausage sandwiches, fruit platters and pastries provided by Spread Grazing Events while Mivvy Creative’s Katrina baked 100 mouth-watering cupcakes.
A luxury hamper was also donated by Mivvy Creative to support the centre’s nominated local charity Spadework, which provides care, guidance and meaningful opportunities for adults with learning and other disabilities. Mivvy also ran a free design clinic for attendees after the event.
Mivvy Creative boss Paul Woodger said: “We were proud to have sponsored such a fantastic event at Churchill Square today – over 100 businesses coming together to connect, share and support one another. The energy in the room was a real reflection of the strength of our local business community.”
He added: “As a customer of Capital Space for the last seven years, we can’t recommend the team highly enough. Toni, Tina and the whole team helped with promoting the event and were on hand to ensure everything went smoothly. We are really grateful for their hard work and pleased with how successful the event was.”
Speaking on behalf of the Chamber, Marketing and Events Executive Henry Mileham, said: “We had the pleasure of bringing another one of our busy Chamber Connections Networking events to Churchill Square Business Centre.
“We were delighted to see this event sell out in record time thanks to all of the supportive marketing from the teams at Churchill Square and Mivvy Creative. We can’t thank the team at Churchill Square enough as they once again went above and beyond to ensure the event was a tremendous success.”
Centre manager Toni Wilkinson said was delighted with the feedback from the Chamber and the attendees on the day. “We were thrilled to be given the opportunity to host a Chamber Connections networking event for the second year running, which has become the highlight of our summer calendar. It was great to see so many new and familiar faces, as well as providing an invaluable networking opportunity for our own community of businesses.”
She added: “I want to say a big thank you to my entire five-strong team who worked so hard behind the scenes to ensure the event ran like clockwork from start to finish.”
