How Illuminated Lightboxes Helped Seeclear Services Group Stand Out at The Schools and Academies Exhibition Show

Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Steve from Seeclear Services Group ahead of his attendance at the Schools & Academies Show, held at ExCeL London.

For this project, we produced two illuminated lightboxes designed specifically for their exhibition stand, but the real story here isn’t just about how they looked. It’s about what they achieved in a fast-paced, highly competitive exhibition environment. Exhibitions like this are busy, energetic spaces where dozens, sometimes hundreds, of organisations are competing for attention at the same time. In that setting, it’s not enough to simply “be present”, you have to be visible, memorable, and approachable within seconds.

That’s where lighting and clarity play a huge role. The illuminated lightboxes helped Seeclear create a strong visual anchor within their stand. Rather than blending into the background, their space had an immediate presence from across the exhibition hall. This naturally encouraged more footfall, giving their team more opportunities to start conversations with schools, academies, and decision-makers attending the event.

But beyond visibility, the real value came from what happened next: engagement. A well-lit, clearly branded stand doesn’t just attract attention, it sets a tone. It helps build trust before a single conversation begins. Visitors arrive already understanding who you are and what you do, which makes interactions smoother, quicker, and more meaningful.

For Seeclear, this meant more confident conversations and a stand that actively supported their team rather than just housing them.

We’ve always believed exhibitions are about more than just display materials. They’re about creating environments where brands can connect with people effectively. When done right, every element, from lighting to layout, works together to support those conversations and make them easier to start.

This project was a great example of how simple, well-executed visual tools can make a measurable difference in how a stand performs at a major event and for us, that’s the part we love most, seeing design do its job in the real world, where it counts
