Discover Grants And Incentives For Employing Young People At Upcoming BOSS Business Networking Event
Local businesses looking to grow their workforce and support young talent are invited to attend a special BOSS Business Networking event this September focused on the opportunities available when employing young people.
Taking place on Wednesday 30th September 2026 at the Youth Employability and Skills Hub in Broadstairs, the event will feature experts from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) who will provide insight into the grants, incentives and support currently available to employers.
One of the key topics will be the £3,000 Youth Jobs Grant, helping businesses understand how financial support can make it easier to recruit and develop young talent.
Supporting Young People Into Work
The event is being held at Thanet’s new Youth Employability and Skills Hub, the first facility of its kind in Kent. The Hub is a partnership between Nelson College London, the Department for Work and Pensions and Thanet District Council, designed to help young people access employment, training and skills opportunities.
Since opening in June, the Hub has already supported more than 31 young people into work or training, demonstrating the positive impact of collaboration between employers, education providers and support organisations.

This session offers an excellent opportunity for employers to:
- Learn about available grants and employment incentives
