Business To Business Services – Performance And Redundancy Coaching
My coaching service extends to small businesses as well as all my private client work for anyone over 18 to whatever we may classify as retirement age these days. How long I wonder before 70 is the normal age.
On the business side I offer performance and redundancy coaching at a fraction of the cost of most consultancies. They’re geared up to the corporate world of big numbers and budgets. And big fees!
PERFORMANCE COACHING
From time to time there are ripples within teams and the issue isn’t being easily resolved. Someone may be off their game and the issue may be a small bump in the office or even something going on at home. The ‘bitter sweet’ of small close knit teams can sometimes mean that problems aren’t discussed openly.
With consent, I speak to those involved and find that these issues are easy to rectify. If something is troubling you and your team, just reach out and we can chat about it, entirely confidentially. It’s usually very sortable with a new voice and set of ears!
I’m so grateful for the following testimonial from my client who works in digital marketing and was struggling and distracted from his business;
“Michael, thank you for sorting out our issue in the office. You managed to de-escalate it really quickly. There has been a persistent undercurrent for quite a while as you know and now the atmosphere has returned to normal. I was heading towards calling in our HR consultant but I was rightly hesitant and now there’s no need. A misunderstanding within the team has caused bad feeling for weeks and your coaching has put it to bed. Again thank you.”
REDUNDANCY COACHING
Just lately I’m having more conversations with small businesses about the impact that increased costs are having on their business. The greatest cost is usually members of staff of course, which is leading to considering the possibility of redundancies. These conversations were just not happening a year ago and growth was far more on the agenda.
No small business wants to be considering the redundancy option but I’m noticing an increased number who are now looking at this. Maybe crunching twenty five staff to twenty three and absorbing two roles or reducing ten people to nine and exploring how their duties can be redeployed.
All of the employers are wanting to avoid this, of course but a fallout is inevitable and they are wanting to be as supportive as possible. This very much includes offering redundancy coaching but outplacement consultancies are terribly expensive and are really geared up for the corporate world.
I am, however offering a cost effective solution by providing a full coaching package for just under £1000 per person. People are often devastated when they find themselves out of work and my support can make a huge difference to their employment prospects and wellbeing.
So if you find yourself, or your clients are thinking about redundancies and want to be able to offer realistic support, please do reach out and we can have an off the record, confidential conversation about the situation.
Thank you for your time and attention and I look forward to hearing from you.
