Brachers Announces Heart Of Kent Hospice As Its Charity Of The Year For 2026
Brachers is pleased to announce Heart of Kent Hospice as its Charity of the Year for 2026. The hospice is a much-valued local organisation that supports adults living with a terminal illness, as well as their families, friends and carers.
The partnership marks the start of a year of fundraising, volunteering and community-focused activity in support of the hospice’s vital work.
Heart of Kent Hospice was chosen in recognition of its longstanding impact on the local community and the connection many across the firm feel to its work.
For 35 years, Heart of Kent Hospice has provided specialist care and support to adults with terminal illnesses across Maidstone, as well as to their families, friends and carers. Its work helps people live as fully and comfortably as possible, ensuring their final days are peaceful and dignified, wherever they choose to be. Since opening, the hospice has supported more than 63,000 people and their families through the challenges of terminal illness.
Supporting the local community has long been an important part of Brachers’ identity. For over 130 years, the firm has been committed to giving back, and in recent years Brachers’ people have raised more than £40,000 for charities across Kent.
