Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, Ashford Business Point, Sevington, Ashford, TN24 0LH
The Lower Thames Crossing project is aiming to use local businesses as much as possible in its supply chain. By doing this, it offers opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in the area, and will keep project investment in the local economy.
The project is partnering with the Supply Chain School to help you up-skill your business, so you’re in the best position to tender for work on the project. You can register your business for the school and take modules on topics that will provide a firm basis for working on a major piece of infrastructure. They will also run workshops focusing on areas that may best help your business grow through working on the project (tendering; certification to get onto projects etc).
The Lower Thames Crossing project is partnering with ourselves to run an event to introduce Kent businesses to the school and to learn from you where you may most need support. This will shape the future workshops and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions about the initiative.
You can also visit the Lower Thames Crossing project website for more information.
