This weeks guest speaker will be Matt Palmer, Executive Director at Lower Thames Crossing
The proposed Lower Thames Crossing is part of the biggest investment in the country’s road network for a generation and an essential component in the UK’s future transport infrastructure. It will boost local, regional and national economies, while offering new connections, better journeys and fewer delays.

You will also hear from Roland Cooper, Director of Considine Limited
Roland will be discussing the recently issued Natural England advice to local authorities about Nutrients in the form of Nitrogen and Phosphorous in the River Stour catchment and what the advice has meant for developments in the area. He will update us on what is being done to unlock planning decisions and future developments that are currently held up by the advice.

The Kent Construction Focus Group (KCFG) is a one-stop-shop for local businesses to discuss the future of Kent development, giving companies access to local knowledge, expertise and contracts. KCFG promotes the future role of Kent land development and construction businesses in the growth and development of Kent and its environment.

The session will start promptly at 7:30am for a chance to be put into breakout rooms and network with the other attendee’s. You will be placed at random into a virtual ‘room’ for 30 minutes before the main session starts at 8am. If you would not like to take part in the networking session, then feel free to join us at 8am.
