Defra Webinar – EPR and Simpler Recycling

The BCC has been in contact with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on the Extended Producer Responsibility for packaging and the Simpler Recycling schemes. These schemes include new requirements for businesses in relation to the use of packaging and recycling, including data reporting as well as costs for businesses.

To help raise awareness among businesses about the schemes and new requirements for businesses, the BCC is hosting a webinar with Defra on Tuesday 25 March at 2pm. In the webinar, officials from Defra will give an overview of the two schemes and answer questions from Chambers and members. This webinar is open to all Chambers and members to attend. Please share and promote this webinar with your members as much as possible.
