About our Speakers:
Stephen Kelly – Prevent and Protect Fraud Officer
Stephen has been with the Police since 1987 as a Special Constable, Police Officer and now a civilian and have served in both Kent Police and City of London Police, primarily as a Detective and have worked on many serious crimes investigations. Since 2006, Stephen has been involved in the fraud arena. In the city of London he had been both an investigator and intelligence officer and during that time Stephen headed a national unit for payment card fraud and was the UK expert to both Europol and Interpol. For the past 5 years I have been the Fraud Prevent and Protect officer for Kent Police.
Arran Ostridge – Cyber Prevent and Protect Officer
Arran works for Kent police as a Cyber Prevent and Protect officer. The role of a Cyber Prevent and Protect officer is to be provide support to individuals and businesses who have been affected by Cyber-crime by providing practical solutions to cyber security at minimal/no cost to the individual or business. This can be done in the form of presentations/stands or interactive activities.
Sophie Jordan – Business Crime Reduction Partnership Manager
An experienced Business Crime Reduction Partnership Manager and BCRP National Standards Accreditation Lead Assessor, Sophie is responsible for the day to day management of the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships, supporting and advising BCRP Managers, business leads and partner agencies by sharing best practice, policy and guidance on all issues relating to Business Crime Reduction, as well as representing their views at National level.
