Emma joined Brachers in 2014 and was made Partner in May 2019.
Emma is a key member of the firm’s charity sector group. She handles general commercial property work, including sales and purchases, options, promotion agreements, conditional contracts, overage, landlord and tenant and secured lending.
Susan Robinson, Accounts and Audit Partner, and Head of Charities and Not for Profit, Kreston Reeves
Susan is an expert on charities and their finances, she regularly presents to local charity managers and trustees on the many different aspects of this sector. She is a registered individual for audit purposes, Chair and Fellow of the Association of Independent Charity Examiners (ACIE).
Susan is a current trustee of Age UK Medway, she was actively involved in the merger of two charities which has enabled the new charity to develop its positioning and increase its offerings in the local sector. She is very passionate about the work the sector does in increasingly challenging circumstances.
Colin Laidlaw, VAT and Duty Director, Kreston Reeves
Colin has worked in VAT for over 30 years with a wide breadth of experience from OMBs to multinational companies. He provides VAT and other indirect tax advice across all aspects as required, ranging from compliance services (VAT returns), VAT registration, and advisory projects to more complex structuring and planning. Specific areas of strength and expertise include not for profit organisations.
