A GradForce Networking Christmas

What is the Gradforce Networking Conference and why should you come along?

Funding has been awarded by the Office for Students as part of the Challenge Competition: Industrial Strategy and Skills – support for local graduates. The project aims to help local graduates with low mobility to progress into graduate employment in the local small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, and to increase the number of graduate jobs in Kent and Medway overall.

It’s main aim is to secure new Local jobs for Local students

We have big plans for transforming how our students are prepared for their future employment and would like employers in Kent to be a part of our journey in shaping the model to enhance students’ knowledge, skills and confidence in securing that crucial graduate employment and also enable them to get the employment that matches their skills set when they graduate that you the employers require to have a successful employee on your team.

We can only do this in partnership with employers, as this way we make sure that we are shaping our workshops in the right direction that matches employer’s needs.

This conference will give you an opportunity to see what we have done so far and where our journey is going. We will have key note speakers from organisations and Alumni who have experience of employing graduates or being a graduate.

We will also have a task from the organisation we will be using to deliver coaching workshops free to SME’s who sign up to the Gradforce programme and a company who will talk about the tool we are investing in which will lighten your recruitment burden when looking for graduates, interns, work experience etc.
