Set in 20 acres of partially wooded and landscaped grounds, West Kent Shooting School offers a comprehensive English Sporting layout with over 100 different combinations of targets, including a 100ft Raywing High Tower.

The range is carefully laid out to provide a totally natural setting for extensive shooting for both novices and experts, all within the beautiful tranquillity of rural Kent, close to Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Our continued success owes much to our policy of constantly re-investing in our core activity as a Shooting School.

Superfast WIFI is available throughout the Clubhouse.  Offer conference facilities as well as shooting facilities.

Had a fantastic day. Our company organised a team bonding day here. I’ve never shot a shotgun before. Our instructor Trevor was brilliant and great on giving advice on how to hit the clay. We went to 7 different shooting areas with different difficulties, then had a simulated pheasant hunt to finish off the day. The food what was laid on for us from the breakfast baps to the lasagna at lunch was vey tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Very well laid out ground with multiple traps, some having up to 5 bird options. The high tower pings out clays for several traps, so there's options for easy through to almost impossible to hit!

Not a single no bird in 100 clays shot this morning.

Clubhouse is very up market, good snacks and coffee. Slightly more expensive than other grounds but I can understand why...love this ground.

Quite literally a real eye opener! I had the pleasure of a lesson with Tom Friar today. I've had various lessons in the past but they have never quite clicked. Within minutes of meeting Tom on the stand. His appraisal of my shooting approach was reassuringly accurate. Tom explained his process in detail and how this could be applied to the way I shoot. I have always shot with a combination of one eye closed, or two eyes open and closing an eye as I zero'd in. Tom deconstructed my approach and taught me how to shoot with two eyes open. To my amazement I hit targets I had previously struggled with. Tom was clear how my experience today should be built on. I will hopefully put this into practice before returning for another lesson. Thank you Tom..
