Vernacular Homes is a family-run business that specialises in planning applications, architectural design and the creation of homes that not only fit the brief but are built on time and within budget.

We have an impressive portfolio of barn conversions, new builds and restoration projects to our name, having been commissioned by private homeowners, developers large and small to work with them.

The earlier we are involved in a project, the more value we can add in terms of workable designs, budgeting and timescales.
And, by keeping design and build in one place, the client is taken from the initial idea to moving in, more smoothly.
Budget is of crucial importance in development but can only be achieved with the right planning and design first. We work with our clients to look at different ways to achieve that fantastic end result, at the same time, knowing that if it isn’t affordable, it doesn’t get built.

Photogrammetric surveying and the sophisticated BIM design software we use enables us to provide a unique blend of high-quality design coupled with a grounded approach to build costs and practical build solutions.  Our digital design models with perspective views help to visualise the end result in a way easily understood by our clients.
