The Black Horse Inn

The Black Horse Inn is a high quality freehold public house, restaurant, hotel and function/event space provider.  We are situated along the historic pilgrims way in the hamlet of Thurnham just 10 minutes drive from the centre of Maidstone and 5 minutes from the M20 and major road networks.

Internally our main bar and restaurant areas are adorned with Kentish hops, exposed beams and open fireplaces creating a truly calm and cosy feeling.   Don’t be shy about getting in contact with us to see if we can accommodate you for a meal or celebration – In our restaurant, we can cater for all, from individual diners and couples through to large groups up to 34.

Set within the north downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our garden areas provide expansive scenic views across the Weald of Kent – sit back, relax and enjoy the superb food and drinks that are served all day, every day from 12pm.
