Loughman was founded in 1977 and with over 40 years experience we have established a strong reputation in managing and self-delivering a range of disciplines. Our portfolio spans all aspects of highway maintenance and improvements, including streetscape and junction improvement works in congested and busy urban environments, infrastructure works and building related elements as well as Public Realm works, Sport, Recreational and Play areas and working on Heritage projects to the satisfaction of Historic England and Local Authorities.

Our delivery team possesses the necessary technical and operational skills that ensure we complete our projects safely, on time, within budget and to a very high standard. Our experience as a Main Contractor enables T. Loughman to competently perform the role of Principal Contractor under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.

We are an experienced principal contractor holding CHAS, EXOR, and SafeContractor accreditation and we work to our H&S Policy and procedures which is tailored to our requirements by external consultants ‘The Health and Safety People Ltd’ and they are retained to provide ongoing advice. We have had no reportable RIDDOR events in the past five year and continue to maintain an excellent H&S standard.
