Next Step Compliance is a Kent-based outsourced compliance management service supporting ambitious small businesses across Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Mid Kent.

I am Jeanette Wessen, an IRCA registered Lead Auditor with qualifications across ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, a NEBOSH Health and Safety qualification and a 100% certification pass rate since 2022.

Unlike remote or national ISO consultancies, I work on-site with your business, getting to know how you actually operate and building compliance systems that reflect reality, not a generic template.

What I do

I act as your dedicated outsourced compliance manager, taking ISO certification and ongoing compliance completely off your plate. This includes ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, ISO 45001 health and safety management, SSIP accreditation including SafeContractor and CHAS, FORS, BRCGS and HACCP for food manufacturing businesses, internal audits, management reviews and ongoing system maintenance.

As a small Company averaging around 12 employees, we do not have the expertise to understand the intricacies of the ISO standards and needed an affordable solution to assist us with achieving Accreditations, which satisfy our clients that we are a Company to be considered.

Having previously become a bit disillusioned by the ISO process and guidance we had received, my faith was restored once again after we engaged the ISO services from Jeanette.
