Since becoming established in the late 1970s the firm has always sought to maintain the highest professional standards while being approachable. McLean Reid specialise in progressive, growing businesses and bring a pro-active team approach to business issues. Partner Allan Reid has an MBA and uses it. He also writes for local business publications, and maintains full Financial Advisor accreditation.

Both partners have commercial as well as professional experience, with John Champion having served as director of small international trading company.

I first met Allan 38 years ago when I joined Southern Sheds I was only an employee then but got to know him quite well during business hours and also socially. When John and I brought Southern Sheds about 20 years ago Allan was heavily involved in the management buy out and we have retained him as our accountant ever since.

I have always valued Allan's help and advice on many issues and not just on doing our books at the end of the year.
