Kenward Trust has been helping transform the lives of people experiencing addiction and homelessness for 58 years – giving hope and recover from addiction.

Kenward Trust offers residential rehabilitation in Kent for those experiencing addiction and substance misuse, as well as follow-on resettlement accommodation, to provide a safe home on the journey of recovery. Our two residential programmes — the 12-Step Programme and the Therapeutic Recovery Model (incorporating SMART Recovery) take place in a structured, compassionate environment where recovery can begin and grow.

We also work in schools with our award winning intervention and prevention educational programme for young people aged 11-18 using real life experiences that show the consequences of substance misuse. Our staff have lived experience to share, whose lives were turned upside down due to drug and alcohol use or a parent who lost a child. We demonstrate to young people the consequences of choice. So, when they are offered a substance, they can appreciate the path this can send them down. This work is not funded and so the annual charity ball “Kenward Will Save Lives” raises money to enable us to visit more schools.

Part of the Kenward Trust estate is Kenward Place, set in 15 acres of beautiful, rolling countryside,it is a Georgian Manor House that provides the perfect setting for team building event or business conference.

Each event is completely designed around you and your needs, so we provide bespoke quotes tailored to your requirements.

All proceeds raised by Kenward Place go towards the life-changing work undertaken by Kenward Trust.

 

We recently held our trustee strategic away day at Kenward Trust. It was a brilliantly uplifting day made all the more impactful thanks to the care and attention of the team at Kenward Trust. I cannot think of a more beautiful environment in which to hold an away day. With a range of dietary requirements, the team were able to provide us with an excellent, freshly prepared lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Immaculate facilities - I would highly recommend Kenward Trust as a venue. A great opportunity to invest in a local charity as part of your professional and governance planning.

We booked a team building day at Kenward Trust. It was a great day, it's amazing how much you don't know about people until you mix in a social setting! We booked disc golf, archery & alpaca walks, such a great place to spend team building! thank you to all at Kenward that organised this day for us, we'll be back im sure!
