Kent Community Energy is a community-owned renewable energy organisation that develops and funds solar energy projects across Kent, reinvesting profits into local environmental and community initiatives.

Our 2026 Share Offer attracted over 360 new investors. They enable KCE to help bring solar energy to buildings that serve our community in Kent – we offer our heartfelt thanks, your faith in us will help bring over 500kW of new rooftop solar to community buildings.

Our People

Members and volunteers in Kent’s local community energy scheme have a say in how profits are reinvested in renewable energy, sustainability and community projects across the county.
