Kent Association for the Blind is a local charity supporting sight impaired people to live independent lives.  We do this by providing a range of services which are tailored to the needs of each individual who comes to us. We provide practical support and training in day to day skills such as getting out and about, cooking and accessing technology. We also provide emotional support and opportunities to overcome social isolation.

Additionally, we provide services to the sighted community including accredited training and the delivery of prevention campaigns.

We work with over 12,500 visually impaired people in Kent, Medway and Bromley; we want to make sure that their voice is heard and that they can access the local resources and activities they want/need to.

2020 is an exciting year for us at KAB as we are celebrating our 100th anniversary.  We are busy making plans to celebrate and have set an ambitious target to have 100 events for 100 years.
