Going green with Guscott Heating Services

After deciding to take the plunge to update our central heating system (the promise of a £7500 contribution by the government did help a lot), we recently had Guscott Heating Services install a Panasonic Aquarea Air to Water 7 kW heat pump at our home, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Consultation and Planning: The initial consultation was thorough and informative. James, Guscott`s Operations Director, took the time to understand our heating needs and provided a comprehensive detailed plan for the installation. He answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable with every step of the process.

We were initially going to get a Samsung heat pump but they apparently will not guarantee an installation of their equipment if it is close to the sea (we are 200 meters from the Thames Estuary) due to possible salt damage, even it the equipment is powder-coated to prevent that. We decided on a Panasonic heat pump instead who will do the warranty and are glad we did.

Installation: The installation itself was seamless. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and ensured that everything was set up correctly. They were polite, friendly and took great care to minimise disruption to our home and completed the installation in a timely manner. They were clean and tidy, and also cleaned up all their rubbish.

Performance: Since the installation, the heat pump has been performing exceptionally well. It efficiently heats our home and provides hot water without any issues. The system is quiet and reliable. As it has replaced our old gas boiler, we now have only to pay for the use of the cooker gas hob so the cost of our gas is almost nothing (unfortunately we still have to pay that pesky daily standing charge!). On the other hand, our electricity usage has increased but we are now paying less than we did before the work took place.

Customer Service: Guscott Heating Services provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. They were responsive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They also took care of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme documentation and the inevitable associated bureaucracy that is involved. Their after-installation support has also been top-notch.

Overall Impression: We highly recommend Guscott Heating Services for anyone considering a heat pump installation. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction make them a standout choice. We`re very pleased with the Panasonic Aquarea heat pump and the service we have received from Guscott Heating Services.

Amazing company!

I cannot recommend Guscott Heating Services enough. We have had an ongoing problem with our hot water cylinder which has caused a leak! From the minute I called Jack in the office yesterday afternoon he was so helpful! He sent Sam round at 8am the following day and he fixed the problem within the hour! This was after we had numerous other plumbers out who could not resolve the issue! Very knowledgeable and amazing customer service. Could not be happier and will be using your company in the future for any issues we have and services.
