Economic Energy was founded in 1999 by John Carden and is an energy consultancy. The main services are energy management or energy compliance related.
One of John’s key skills is identifying and assessing cost-effective methods of reducing energy usage. He has surveyed and reported on circa 1,000 facilities of all kinds over the last 30 years.
One focus of current projects is mandatory compliance for non-SME’s. Regulations mandate that every non-SME must report their energy consumption and emissions in their annual reports and undertake energy surveys on a four-year cycle.
John has good experience in both these regulations and is able to apply them effectively such that energy savings are maximised and the company sustainability profile is well presented in the annual report.
