Canterbury Oast Trust (COT) is a Kent charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.

We offer a high-quality, person-centred approach through accommodation services, support and training through our life skills programmes. These include the Rare Breeds Centre near Ashford providing opportunities for students to learn culinary, horticultural, animal husbandry, customer service, computer and art skills, and Poulton Wood where students learn how to care for and maintain an ancient woodland, as well as gaining woodworking, crafting and art skills.

The Rare Breeds Centre is not only a fantastic training centre for students and a real working farm, it is also a year-round visitor attraction featuring rare breeds of farm animals, adventure playgrounds, a child-friendly restaurant, fun activities and events throughout the year. Every visit to the farm helps to support the important work of the charity.
