Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Management
We offer a complete cost, commercial and risk management service, tailored to clients’ business objectives and fully integrated within the design process. We provide quick and informed assessments for feasibility of proposed developments. During construction, we manage costs and any supply chain to maximise return on investment.
Principal Designer (CDM)
Appointing the appropriate organisations and individuals to complete projects is fundamental to success, including health and safety performance. We ensure clients receive best possible service and advice to deliver schemes safely.
Our focus is to assist and provide specialist construction health and safety support, ensuring legislative and statutory compliance requirements be carried out, reducing project exposure and increasing project safety.
CDM Advisor
The BAQUS team includes experienced CDM Advisors who have worked as part of project teams and can provide advice and assistance to Clients to help them comply with their duties, in particular:
- Their duty to appoint designers and contractors with the skills knowledge, and
- Experience in respect of Health and Safety and their duty to ensure that adequate arrangements are in place for managing and organising the project.
- Review of Construction Phase Plan
- Undertake CDM/health and safety audits of the Principal Contractor on site

Contract Administrators/ Employer’s Agents
BAQUS has a proven track record in technical advisory services. We provide client advisors, contract administrators, employers’ agents and contractor advisors under a variety of procurement models, including traditional, design and build, framework, and PFI contracts.
We use our well-established consultancy and design experience to take a proactive, holistic approach, identifying areas where we can promote innovative, exemplar facilities while minimising risk and maximising value.
