Kent and Medway Apprentice Graduation Ceremony

20th October 2023 11:00 am - 20th October 2023 2:00 pm

The fifth Kent and Medway Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, 20th October at Rochester Cathedral. The fourth Kent and Medway Apprentice Graduation Ceremony, took place on Friday 14th October 2022. We were delighted to have returned to a formal ceremony similar to 2019’s inaugural ceremony at Rochester Cathedral. The 2022 ceremony saw a 70% increase in graduates participating and we are keen that the 2023 ceremony will be bigger still. Join with us and be part of Kent & Medway’s most inclusive apprenticeship celebration!

We would love to celebrate with even more apprentices in 2023 as there are over 9,000 apprentices in learning every year in the county.

If you are, or know an apprentice who will complete and achieve their apprenticeship between 1st August 2022 and 31st July 2023, now is the time to consider them becoming one of our graduates via our easy two-step nomination and registration process.

Jo James OBE, CEO of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce; said, “The Chamber is proud to support the Graduation Ceremony for a second time in 2023. Through its work in supporting the county’s businesses the Chamber recognises the central role apprentices play in so many of our employer organisations and how much they contribute to business continuity and growth. Our work on the Local Skills Improvement Plan and prospective LSIF consolidates this understanding across so many industry sectors. The Chamber congratulates all the apprentices graduating at the 2023 ceremony. They should be proud of their achievements and equally their contribution to the success of their employers’ businesses and to the county’s economy.”

Apprentice Registration – Registration will open in February 2023 and will close 5pm 1st September 2023

All it takes to start the process is an initial registration by an employer, training provider or apprentice using our Registration portal. If you are unsure of the process or any details required to complete a registration please get in touch via our Contact page or info@appgradkandm.org.

After a validation confirmation we will keep you informed of relevant event details and next steps for you as an apprentice, employer or provider organisation in the run up to the event. At registration stage it is crucial all information is provided and completed accurately, including the correct name/title of the apprenticeship(s) undertaken. Failure to not provide full and complete details may result in the registration failing.
