A new webinar series of bite size chunks of knowledge, information sessions to maximise your business.

This month’s “Business Bites” will be hosted by our very own Lucy Druesne, Skills Programme Manager at KICC.

Why would a local business engage with schools and colleges?

With staff recruitment and retention a priority for businesses we explore how engagement with local education providers can help.

Wire Belt Company Limited has engaged with this agenda for over 40 years and Gary Allen, Managing Director, will give us his insights into:

  • Why and how they have sustained this engagement
  • Why he feels it is an important agenda for Kent & Medway businesses in manufacturing and other sectors

This will be a short, interactive session and representatives from The Kent & Medway Careers Hub will join us to answer any questions relating to direct engagement with schools and colleges.

Although this session is part of the Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group, organisations and businesses from other sectors are very welcome to join us.
