Gillingham Street Angels is a small grass roots charity supporting the homeless and vulnerable within the Medway towns and surrounding areas, no matter what their circumstances.

  • Foodbank – providing free food parcels (for around 15,000 people every month), warm clothing, blankets & duvets and other essential items.
  • Family Meal Initiative & Soup Kitchen – for families to come together and enjoy a nutritious hot meal together and a weekly community soup kitchen providing healthy home cooked meals to those without cooking facilities.
  • Mobile wellbeing service in collaboration with NHS and other wellbeing partners.
  • Community cafes including wellbeing groups.
  • Charity shops selling good quality, affordable furniture, white goods, household essentials, clothes and bric-a-brac.
  • Recycling Initiatives i.e. free school uniform bank, plastic, egg boxes, crisp packet, printer cartridges etc
  • Community “Shed Angel” groups
