From a first insurer facilitated meeting back in 2013, our relationship with Horizonscan has grown and matured beyond either party expectations. We regard the coaching team as our long-term, embedded risk and resilience partner and regard the relationship as symbiotic – despite the massive differences in scale, we learn and share together. From an initial ‘stress-test’ program, their range of services and support has expanded to include crisis-readiness and response coaching, Business Impact Analysis, Supply-Chain Resilience, development of campus BCP, cross-FE resilience data aggregation and leadership workshops. They have deployed globally, matching our footprint and despite some last-minute requests for unplanned work, always step-up and deliver positive experiences for all stakeholders. Looking to the future, our ability to identify and plan for uncertainty is enhanced by having Horizonscan constantly sharing ‘what’s coming over the hill’ type inputs. While we don’t always put formal programs in-place for these suggestions, we value the inputs and appreciate having a partner who will occasionally ‘speak truth to power’. Over many years, Horizonscan have established their reputation as a credible partner, and this enables us to evidence organisational resilience to our insurers and other key stakeholders. In-turn, this helps us drive TCoR, which benefits the entire organisation.
