At Think Big Tech we believe that it is important to give something back to the local community. We are showing our commitment to this belief by choosing a charity with a personal connection to a member of our team to make a charitable donation to.
We donate £25 for every new support contract taken to SSAFA the Armed Forces Charity.
SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) is the oldest tri – Forces charity who provide a lifetime of help and support for ANY serviceman and woman (regardless of how long they have served) and to their families, and also to the families of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving their country.
To continue our support for this charity, our Office Manager Melissa St. George will be undertaking two huge challenges (for someone who doesn’t like heights or driving!).
On Saturday 9th May, to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day, she will be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower to raise money for SSAFA the Armed Forces Charity.
The Spinnaker Tower stands at 170 metres (560ft) at Gunwharf Keys in Portsmouth.
In addition to this, on 5th August Melissa embarks on a 10-day European drive challenge, co-driving approximately 3,000 miles which equates to a minimum of 5 miles for every serviceperson who has lost their life whilst serving since the Afghanistan conflict.
Please support us in supporting our armed forces, veterans and their families by sponsoring Melissa on the links below:
