The COVID-19 pandemic has been hard for everyone, including Kent’s hard-working businesses.  Many of you will have stopped trading, furloughed staff and faced much uncertainty.  Here at bemix, we understand the kind of challenges you’ve faced during this time. All of our in-person projects went online, and we put our Supported Internship work placements on hold temporarily.

We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  The world of business is opening up again which comes with its own set of challenges. You have to keep your staff and customers safe by adhering to social distancing, and recruitment will likely be harder. The money you would have spent hiring new staff will likely need to be invested in other areas of the business.   • Job-matching the right candidate for the role and managing the interview process and taster-days for/with you
  • Conducting and paying for an independent health and safety check and risk assessments for the intern placement, including COVID-19 measures
  • Providing a Work Coach to support your business and your intern during their placement. The Work Coach is there to promote your intern’s independence in the workplace
