Brachers Celebrates Chambers UK 2026 Success With New Construction Ranking
Brachers law firm, Patron of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, has once again been recognised for its legal excellence in the Chambers UK Guide 2026, with rankings in eight practice areas and 12 individual lawyer recognitions. These results reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding client service and legal expertise across the South East.
This year, Brachers secured a new ranking in Construction (Band 2), highlighting the growing strength of the team, led by Alex Cosgrove. Additionally, Michael Oatham moved up a band in Litigation, and Christopher Eriksson-Lee received new individual recognition in Agriculture & Rural Affairs.
Ranked practice areas this year include Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Construction, Corporate/M&A: £5 million and above, Employment, Family/Matrimonial, Litigation, Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation.
Three lawyers, James Bullock (Corporate), Matthew Simmonds (Corporate) and Mei-Ling McNab (Family), retained their Band 1 ranking. Other ranked lawyers include Ash Jilani, Catherine Daw, Christopher Eriksson-Lee, Claire Williams, Colin Smith, Mark Leeson, Michael Oatham and Sarah Gaines, with Lacie Kerner recognised in the ‘Up and coming’ category.
The rankings are based on independent research and client feedback.
