Innovate UK has launched a new fund for small and medium-sized firms to develop innovative projects in the agriculture, food and healthcare sectors. To compete for a share of the £15 million fund, projects must increase agricultural productivity and sustainability, improve precision medicine, advanced therapies or pre-clinical technologies, or advance biosciences in healthcare, agriculture and food production. Projects must last for no more than 36 months and have total eligible costs of up to £2 million. The deadline for applications is 9 November 2016.
